            Spring Creek is 2-8 against Princeton since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Gators will look to defend their home field  against the Bulldogs  at 6:30  p.m.
Spring Creek managed to slip by Eastern Wayne the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gators lost  7-1 to the Warriors on Tuesday. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Princeton). They blew past Goldsboro 24-9 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  victory against them.
Princeton got a  massive  performance out of  Alyvia Bleigh, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave  Bleigh a new career-high in  RBI (two). Another player making a difference was  Kaylee Mitchell, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Princeton was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .593. They are 6-3 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
 Spring Creek's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Princeton,  the  win  got them back to even at 7-7.
