Volleyball Recap: Ware County Takes a Loss

Ware County lost against Georgia Christian last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gators took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Generals.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-7.

Skyy Green paced Ware County's offense, picking up five kills. Green really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with four. Finally, she was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Ware County's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Georgia Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Ware County and Georgia Christian will both be playing Colquitt County the next time they take the court. The Gators will head out to face the Packers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Generals will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
