Volleyball Recap: Oaks Christian Lions vs. Thousand Oaks Lancers
Oaks Christian came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Thousand Oaks Lancers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.
While Oaks Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Thousand Oaks' winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-21.
Oaks Christian's offense was headlined by Cameron Judd and Curran Pendergraft, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Chase Jenkins and his 15 assists. Luke Maguire controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
