Sitka is 9-1 against Houston since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Sitka Wolves will head out to challenge the Houston Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Sitka and three for Houston.

Last Friday, Sitka lost to Valdez at home by a 63-48 margin.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-27, which was the final score in Houston's tilt against Kenai Central on Saturday.

Houston's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Sitka, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Sitka strolled past Houston in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 by a score of 66-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sitka since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
