Centennial posted their closest win since September 30, 2024 on Saturday. They slipped by the Ramona Rams 13-12. Winning may never get old, but the Huskies sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Centennial's defense and their three sacks. Jaylene Sangenito was especially locked on to Ramona's QB and sacked her twice. Sangenito is crushing it when it comes to sacks: she's posted at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

The victory got Centennial back to even at 12-12. As for Ramona, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8-1 record this season.

Centennial didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-0 loss against Mission Viejo on the 27th. As for Ramona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 24-0 win against Temecula Prep on the 27th.
