Preview: Flat Rock Rams vs. Huron Chiefs

Flat Rock is 8-2 against Huron since February of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Flat Rock Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huron Chiefs at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Flat Rock unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of St. Mary Catholic Central by a score of 37-34. Flat Rock has struggled against St. Mary Catholic Central recently, as their match on Monday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Layla Holbrook, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Durfee, who scored two points along with two steals.

Flat Rock struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Huron pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trenton. Huron's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Flat Rock's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Huron, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
