South Jones extended their postseason success on Saturday against Purvis. They had just enough and edged out the Tornadoes 4-3. Four seems to be a good number for the Braves as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The team relied heavily on Ryleigh Wheat, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for South Jones and bumps their season record up to 18-8-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Purvis, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.

As of now, neither South Jones nor Purvis have any future games scheduled.
