Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Victory Christian Center walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 82-16 win over the Ridgecroft Rams. The Kings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.

Victory Christian Center's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sofia Ponce, who went 7-for-11 en route to 17 points in addition to seven boards and six steals. The dominant performance gave Ponce a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Roselyn Sanchez, who went 7-for-11 on her way to 17 points and four steals.

Victory Christian Center smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Victory Christian Center's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.4 points over those games. As for Ridgecroft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-7.

Coming up, Victory Christian Center will face off against Crossroads Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Crossroads Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Victory Christian Center surely won't give up without a fight. Ridgecroft does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
