Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gillespie). They secured a 71-65 W over the Auburn Trojans on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Miners who have now won seven contests in a row.

Gillespie's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Auburn, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Gillespie will head out to challenge Litchfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Auburn, they will welcome Sangamon Valley/Tri-City at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
