Baseball Recap: John Glenn Comes Up Short

If John Glenn was riding high fresh off their 11-2 takedown of New Lexington on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Muskies fell just short of the Tri-Valley Scotties by a score of 6-5 on Monday. The Muskies haven't had much luck with the Scotties recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Rocco Sabino made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. He has become a key player for John Glenn: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-11 otherwise. Zane Townsend was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
