Baseball Game Preview: Canyon Hills Rattlers vs. Lincoln Hornets

For the second straight game, Canyon Hills will face off against Lincoln. The Rattlers will head out on the road to square off against the Hornets at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Canyon Hills is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs last Monday, they were much more limited against Lincoln on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hornets, falling 9-2.

Canyon Hills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Barroga, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Barroga has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Lincoln has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Canyon Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-2.
