Basketball Recap: Siegel Takes a Loss

Siegel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Wilson Central Wildcats and fell 63-13. The Stars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

Wilson Central found their leader in sophomore Eliana Ramsey, who went 8 for 14 on her way to 21 points. The dominant performance gave Ramsey a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylee Fly, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.

Siegel's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wilson Central, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Siegel will host Shelbyville Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Wilson Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-51 loss against Mount Juliet on the 13th.
