Basketball Game Preview: Ballard Bruins vs. Male Bulldogs

The Ballard Bruins will square off against the Male Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Male took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Ballard, who comes in off a win.

Ballard will bounce into Monday's match after beating Christian Academy-Louisville, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Ballard breezed past Christian Academy-Louisville to the tune of 69-36 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Male was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They were outmatched by Assumption and fell 79-23. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now lost six in a row.

Ballard is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-15 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points over those games. Male's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Ballard didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Male when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 57-52 win. Does Ballard have another victory up their sleeve, or will Male turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
