Basketball Recap: North Davidson Takes a Loss

North Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 64-49 fall against the Central Davidson Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Black Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-31 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why North Davidson lost, don't look at Carson Davis. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Spencer Berrier, who earned six points.

North Davidson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Central Davidson, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-9.

Coming up, North Davidson will venture away from home to square off against Ledford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ledford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 68.6 points per game this season. As for Central Davidson, they will host Oak Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oak Grove will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Central Davidson surely won't give up without a fight.
