Softball Recap: Brimfield Indians vs. St. Bede Bruins
It's playoff time, and Brimfield had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the St. Bede Bruins by a score of 4-1 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on four straight.

Sawyer Drury made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 15 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
In other batting news, Layla Hersemann was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.
