Basketball Recap: Yellow Medicine East Comes Up Short

Yellow Medicine East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the Renville County West Jaguars. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Sting still had to take the loss.

Yellow Medicine East's record now sits at 8-14. As for Renville County West, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yellow Medicine East will venture away from home to challenge Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Renville County West, they will head out to square off against Minneota at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
