Fruita Monument skates past Delta with ease

The Fruita Monument Wildcats put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Delta, posting a 74-29 victory on the road. That looming 74-29 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Fruita Monument yet this season.
Fruita Monument was led to victory by Max Orchard and Daniel Thomason. Orchard scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and four steals, while Thomason scored 19 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Thomason has scored at least 25% of Fruita Monument's points. Another player making a difference was Wilson Siegumnd, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Fruita Monument's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Delta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Fruita Monument's road trip will continue as they head out to face Silver Creek at 4:30 p.m. on December 15th. Silver Creek is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Delta won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Grand Junction Central at 4:30 p.m. on December 15th.
