Baseball Recap: Montgomery Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Montgomery can now relate to. They lost 9-2 to the Santa Fe Christian Eagles on Tuesday. The Aztecs just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Montgomery saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cesar Abdul, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Santa Fe Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Montgomery nor Santa Fe Christian have any future games scheduled.
