Basketball Recap: Burns Piles Up the Points Against Pendleton

Burns was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Pendleton on Tuesday. The Burns Hilanders claimed a resounding 46-18 win over the Pendleton Buckaroos. Given the Hilanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Buckaroos are ranked 108th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Burns' victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.1 points per game. As for Pendleton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
