Volleyball Recap: Chestnut Ridge Lions vs. Central Cambria Red Devils
Chestnut Ridge had taken Central Cambria down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Red Devils, falling 3-0. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.
While Chestnut Ridge was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-23.
Leading Central Cambria to victory were Riley Kauffman and Rowan Ruddek. Kauffman had 11 digs and one block, while Ruddek had 17 digs. The dominant performance also gave Kauffman a new career-high in assists (36).
Chestnut Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
