There's no place like home for Fairfax, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Lake Braddock Bruins on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Bruins back in August, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

While Fairfax won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-17, 25-17.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Braddock lost, don't look at Yana Jensen. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and three aces.

Fairfax now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lake Braddock, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairfax will square off against Gar-Field at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Red Wolves at the right time seeing as the Red Wolves are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lake Braddock, after both having extra time off, they and West Potomac will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
