Covington waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Riverside Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Covington can attribute much of their success to Ramse Vanderhorst, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Vanderhorst has posted over her last six contests.

Covington's record now sits at 17-4. As for Riverside, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-19.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Covington is set to challenge their familiar foe Miami East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Riverside will square off against rival Milton-Union at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
