Baseball Game Preview: Valencia Jaguars vs. Grants Pirates

Valencia hasn't had much luck against Grants recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 6:00 p.m. Valencia will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Valencia lost 22-11 to Belen on Tuesday.

Pryce Henry was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Noah Vigil was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Grants had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 6-1.

Grants' win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Valencia, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
