Softball Recap: McFarland Comes Up Short

McFarland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 10-2 to the Shafter Generals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 last Monday.

McFarland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Shafter, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4-1.

McFarland and Shafter will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time McFarland sees the field they'll take on Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on April 22. As for Shafter, their break will end when they face Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. on April 8.
