St. Henry extended their winning streak to four on Saturday, bumping them up to 10-3. They put the hurt on Fort Loramie with a sharp 3-0 victory. St. Henry was shut out 3-0 the last time they took on Fort Loramie, so St. Henry was just returning the favor.

St. Henry got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Morgan Baumer out in front who had 18 digs and one assist. Baumer is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Buschur, who had nine digs and five aces.

St. Henry was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in seven consecutive matches.

As for Fort Loramie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered against St. Henry since November 6, 2021.

When it comes to explaining why Fort Loramie lost, don't look at Tessa Boerger. Despite the final result, she had 27 assists and 17 digs. With that strong performance, Boerger is now averaging an impressive 10.5 digs per game. Another player making a difference was Addie Barhorst, who had ten digs and three assists.

St. Henry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against New Knoxville on the 16th. As for Fort Loramie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Houston on the 16th.
