Basketball Recap: Nixyaawii Community Picks Up 12th Consecutive Victory

Nixyaawii Community waltzed into their game on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They blew past the Griswold Grizzlies 75-21. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 267th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Nixyaawii Community is also on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.3 points per game. As for Griswold, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
