Imperial waltzed into their matchup on Friday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Calexico Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 last Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Addison Clark, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2024. Hannah Johnson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Clark wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Imperial kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

Imperial pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Calexico, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Imperial has already played their next contest, a 9-1 defeat against Mater Dei Catholic on the 29th. As for Calexico, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-0 victory against Brawley on the 1st.
