It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Buford had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Chesnee Eagles a 7-0 shutout. Buford might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Chesnee from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Hannah Davis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory (which was Buford's fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those four games. As for Chesnee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Buford nor Chesnee have any future games scheduled.
