Volleyball Recap: Vista del Lago Comes Up Short

Vista del Lago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Yucaipa Thunderbirds. The Ravens were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderbirds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 21-25, 25-14.

Dylan Spry had a dynamite game for Yucaipa, getting 23 digs. That's the most digs Spry has posted since back in April of 2024.

Vista del Lago's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Yucaipa, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Vista del Lago has already played their next contest (against Woodcrest Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Yucaipa, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Liberty on the 6th.
