            The Shikellamy Braves will head out to  take on the South Williamsport Mountaineers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Shikellamy is coming into the  contest on  a  three-game losing streak.
Williamsport hit Shikellamy with a seven-run sixth inning  on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Braves lost  10-0 to the Millionaires.
 Shikellamy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Chayse Snyder, who  went 1-for-3 with one  double.
South Williamsport couldn't beat Towanda  on Tuesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fourth inning. The Mountaineers fell just short of the Black Knights by a score of  11-10.
  Tadd Lusk and  Torin Haug stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Lusk  went 2-for-5 with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Haug  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. Lusk is becoming a predictor of South Williamsport's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 2-1 (and 2-5 when he doesn't).  Jaymes Carpenter also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Shikellamy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for South Williamsport, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record  this season.
 Shikellamy suffered a grim  7-0 defeat to South Williamsport  when the teams last played  back in April of 2024. Can the Braves avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
