Baseball Recap: Proctor Takes a Loss

Proctor lost to Mt. St. Joseph Academy last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Phantoms came up short against the Green Wave, falling 14-7.

Dylan Curtis was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Proctor is 2-1 when Curtis posts two or more runs, but 5-6 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Brock, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one triple.

Proctor's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Mt. St. Joseph Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.

As of now, neither Proctor nor the Green Wave have any future games scheduled.
