Recap: Millsap Bulldogs vs. Mineral Wells Rams
The Millsap Bulldogs are still winless after their contest against the Mineral Wells Rams on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. Millsap fell just short of Mineral Wells by a score of 62-60. Millsap was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Mineral Wells apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Despite the loss, Millsap still got an impressive performance from Braylon Pugh, who scored 18 points along with 8 steals and 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tres Bagley, who scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds.
Millsap's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mineral Wells, their win bumped their record up to 1-5.
Millsap will head out on the road to face off against Lipan at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Lipan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Millsap in Texas (Lipan is ranked 82nd, while Millsap is ranked 1243rd). As for Mineral Wells, they will take on Ferris at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday.
