Basketball Game Preview: Klein Forest Eagles vs. Randle Lions

The Klein Forest Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Randle Lions at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Klein Forest will be strutting in after a victory while Randle will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Klein Forest beat Klein Cain 50-38. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 907th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Randle lost to Fort Bend Marshall at home by a 73-58 margin on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Buffalos: they've now lost five in a row.

The win made it two in a row for Klein Forest and bumps their season record up to 6-7. As for Randle, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-10.
