Recap: Alemany Warriors vs. Chaminade Eagles

The Alemany Warriors's three-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They walked away with an 85-76 win over Chaminade. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alemany to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jared Mims, who scored 28 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mims has scored all season. Bourgeois Tshilobo was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.

When it comes to explaining why Chaminade lost, one person who can't be blamed is Bryce Goldman. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Koby Nichols, who scored nine points along with three blocks and two steals.

Alemany's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Chaminade, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 16-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alemany will challenge Notre Dame (SO) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Notre Dame (SO) knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 18 matchups -- so hopefully Alemany likes a good challenge. As for Chaminade, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (St. Francis is ranked 83rd, while Chaminade is ranked 105th).
