Softball Recap: Billings Senior Extends Road Winning Streak to 13

Billings Senior had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Great Falls on Saturday. The Broncs blew past the Bison 15-2. The victory continues a trend for the Broncs in their matchups with the Bison: they've now won four in a row.

Riley Tryan spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Madi Ban was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Octavia Meyer, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Billings Senior kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive matchups.

Billings Senior's win was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Great Falls, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
