Basketball Game Preview: Berea Pirates vs. Lexington Catholic Knights

The Berea Pirates will head out on the road to face off against the Lexington Catholic Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Berea will be strutting in after a victory while Lexington Catholic will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Saturday, Berea earned a 26-13 win over Bluegrass United. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Meanwhile, Lexington Catholic ended up a good deal behind Tates Creek on Saturday and lost 47-28. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Berea pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Lexington Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Berea skirted past Lexington Catholic 37-34 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Berea since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
