Clay County was the 70-63 winner over North Laurel when they last played one another on January 3rd, but their luck changed this time around. The match between the Clay County Tigers and the North Laurel Jaguars didn't end well, with the Clay County Tigers falling 78-63.

Clay County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 12-4-1. As for North Laurel, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.
