Basketball Recap: Commission Leadership Academy Griffins vs. Neuse Christian Academy Lions
Commission Leadership Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by the Neuse Christian Academy Lions on the road and fell 36-9.
Neuse Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Lyla Lindstrom, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 steals. Those 11 steals set a new season-high mark for Lindstrom. Another player making a difference was Morgan Little, who earned seven points in addition to eight rebounds and seven steals.
The victory made it two in a row for Neuse Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
