Zakary Grigg had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 136 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also throwing for 55 yards and one TD. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because American Falls is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Brian Lopez helped out on the ground, rushing for 93 yards.

American Falls didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Bonners Ferry to a completion percentage of just 45%. The Beavers weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 30%.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kimberly). They really took it to Gooding for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-20 victory. Bruning has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played. Joe Barrett was another key player, picking up 155 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Kimberly's defense made their presence known, laying out Cougar Stockham three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Johnny Millenkamp, Kaden Dille, and Hayden Black, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Grigg and Bruning. Bruning has been a dominant force too and has thrown 22 touchdowns (and and only 4 pick) while averaging 144.1 passing yards per game.
