American Falls hasn't had much luck against Kimberly recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Beavers will face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. American Falls' defense has only allowed 12.2 points per game this season, so Kimberly's offense will have their work cut out for them.
American Falls is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top against Bonners Ferry by a score of 28-21. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Beavers.

Zakary Grigg had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 136 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also throwing for 55 yards and one TD. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because American Falls is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. Brian Lopez helped out on the ground, rushing for 93 yards.
American Falls didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Bonners Ferry to a completion percentage of just 45%. The Beavers weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 30%.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kimberly). They really took it to Gooding for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-20 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Senators recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
American Falls better keep an eye on MacRaye Bruning. He was instrumental in Kimberly's win, throwing for 363 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 14.5 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 96 yards on only seven carries. Bruning has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played. Joe Barrett was another key player, picking up 155 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.
Kimberly's defense made their presence known, laying out Cougar Stockham three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Johnny Millenkamp, Kaden Dille, and Hayden Black, who each picked up one sack apiece.
American Falls' record now sits at 8-2. As for Kimberly, their record is now 6-3.
Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Grigg and Bruning. Grigg just won't slow down this season and has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 86.8 passing yards per game. Bruning has been a dominant force too and has thrown 22 touchdowns (and and only 4 pick) while averaging 144.1 passing yards per game.
American Falls ended up a good deal behind Kimberly in their previous meeting back in September of 2019, losing 28-14. Can the Beavers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
