Softball Recap: North Crowley Takes a Loss

North Crowley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Boswell Pioneers, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in March.

North Crowley's loss dropped their record down to 6-17-1. As for Boswell, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

North Crowley and Boswell could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Panthers (ranked 942nd) will meet Mansfield (ranked 304th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Boswell will face off against Aledo at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (150 vs. 15).
