Basketball Recap: Smithfield Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Smithfield and Churchland squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Smithfield had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 57-56 to the Churchland Truckers. It was the first time this season that the Packers let down their fans at home.

Smithfield's loss dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Churchland, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-8.

As of now, neither Smithfield nor Churchland have any future games scheduled.
