Volleyball Recap: Belt Picks Up Seventh Consecutive Victory

Belt waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Simms Tigers 3-0. The Huskies have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Leading Belt to victory were Destinee Goodman and June Bock. Goodman had 11 digs and four aces, while Bock had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces Bock has posted since back in October.

They weren't the only good servers: Belt was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 24 consecutive matchups.

Belt's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for Simms, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Belt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Chester-Joplin-Inverness on the 7th. Simms does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
