Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sacred Heart). They came out on top against the Stover Bulldogs by a score of 13-10 on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Gremlins in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

The win got Sacred Heart back to even at 4-4. As for Stover, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Sacred Heart will take on Christ Prep Academy in a tournament on Friday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Gremlins' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Stover, they will host Sweet Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are facing the Greyhounds at the right time seeing as the Greyhounds are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
