Recap: Bunker Hill Bears vs. Reidsville Rams
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Bunker Hill Bears, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They lost to the Rams on the road by a decisive 41-26 margin on Friday. Bunker Hill's loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak.
It was another big night for AL Lee, who threw for 293 yards and three touchdowns for Reidsville. Lee has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last seven times he's played. Que?shyne ?flip? flippen did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 104 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Bunker Hill's loss dropped their record down to 13-1. As for Reidsville, they have yet to lose a match at home this season, leaving them with a 13-1 record.
Bunker Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Reidsville has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Shelby at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. Shelby knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matches -- so hopefully Reidsville likes a good challenge.
