Volleyball Recap: TEACH Tech Charter Comes Up Short

TEACH Tech Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Brio College Prep Olympians.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-7, 25-5.

Brio College Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Stephany Aparicio, who had 15 aces. With that strong performance, Aparicio is now averaging an impressive 3.7 aces per game. Another player making a difference was Leslie Aguayo, who had 15 aces.

TEACH Tech Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brio College Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. TEACH Tech Charter will challenge Simon Tech at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brio College Prep, they will face off against Esperanza College Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
