Xenia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 20-15 to the Sidney Yellowjackets. On the bright side, the 15- run effort marked the Buccaneers' highest-scoring contest to date.

Xenia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sidney, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-10.

Xenia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-0 loss against Bellbrook on the 15th. As for Sidney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 8-4 win against Fort Loramie on the 15th.
