Basketball Recap: Corvian Community Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Corvian Community challenged Ambassador Christian School on Thursday. The Cardinals were beaten by the Lions 82-48. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brycen Hinnant, who posted 14 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Maxwell Garvin, who put up four points and five rebounds.

Corvian Community's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ambassador Christian School, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Corvian Community will take on West Cabarrus at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ambassador Christian School, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Oak Hill Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
