Hampton owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Poyen Indians. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hampton's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Poyen, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Hampton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Parkers Chapel at 5:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Poyen, they will take on Fouke in a tournament on Friday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 11 runs per game this season.
