Softball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Stevenson hit Glenn with a five-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rockets came up short against the Spartans, falling 15-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Wednesday.

Niveah Leleniewski was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Glenn dropped their record down to 9-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Stevenson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8-1.

Coming up, Glenn will take on Cass Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Stevenson, they are taking a road trip to face off against Walled Lake Western at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
