Choctawhatchee had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 46-6 victory over the Stanton Blue Devils. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won nine games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Diaris Morales continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 297 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.7% of her passes, and also punching in one TD on the ground. Those 297 passing yards gave her a new career-high. Peyton DiBendetto was Morales' top target, picking up 69 receiving yards and three scores.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Choctawhatchee proved: they limited Stanton to a paltry 2.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Ariana Gonzales for the heroic effort on defense: she. Sadly, that's becoming something of a trend for Choctawhatchee; they were averaging 5.9yards per carry per game earlier this season, but in their last three matches they've fallen to only 4.2 per game.

The win was the fourth in a row for Choctawhatchee, bringing their record up to 16-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 1.5 points on average over those games. As for Stanton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Choctawhatchee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 33-6 win against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the 1st. Stanton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
